Telephone 2.0 company JAJAH is not the only VoIP company which is up on its heel trying to make its presence felt in the hosted iPBX phone service. Packet8 which recently launched its low cost international calling, has just signed an agreement with Synnex Corporation, a leading business process company.
Under the said agreement, Synnex will be distributing Packet8 Virtual Office Hosted iPBX phone service to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs). This will be part of Synnex Technology-As-A-Service products.
Packet8 is hoping that with the said partnership, its Virtual Office will gain market visibility, Synnex and its reseller arm would provide a information awareness to its clients about the benefits of remote on-demand services such as VoIP. And hopefully this campaign would bring in more customers into the Packet8’s side.
The agreement give Synnex resellers tangible opportunity to expand their market with the inclusion of a hosted VoIP solution provided by Packet8.
Bog Stegner, Senior Vice President, Marketing for North America at Synnex has high regard for Packet8’s Virtual Office System and believes that the agreement will be beneficial to Synnex and Packet8.
“The Packet8 Virtual Office system is an ideal remote on-demand VoIP solution for the SMB because it combines PBX functionality and dial tone in a no-maintenance service that is reliable, scalable and, most importantly, affordable,” says Stegner.
Packet8 offers Virtual Office service plans with unlimited local and long distance calling in the U.S. And Canada and eight additional countries for a flat-rate of $49.99 per month. Packet8’s Virtual Office system allows SMBs to implement a distributed, hosted iPBX telephony solution.
