Top voice and data provider, Speakeasy is offering two new digital voice options for small businesses as part of its Voice over IP (VoIP) portfolio. These options are Speakeasy’s ultra-fast 15 Mbps broadband and a Small Office Calling Plan that customers can use with any broadband service.
The 15 Mbps download speed which will be made available to small businesses combines Speakeasy’s ADSL2 broadband with its VoIP service. This will allow customers to receive voice-optimized nationwide network, uptime and quality of service guarantees and award-winning customer support. Customer who will opt for this service would have a single high-speed connection for both voice and data traffic with voice traffic to be given priority over data.
Meanwhile, Speakeasy’s EasyVoice Small Office Calling Plan will allow businesses with five employees or less the option to use any broadband service provider. Although Speakeasy is recommending the use of EasyVoice’s Small Office in combination with Speakeasy’s own broadband service, the company is giving its customers the freedom to choose their broadband service provider nonetheless.
Speakeasy President and CEO, Bruce Chatterley said that the company wanted to give customer the flexibility to choose their broadband provider to accommodate a range of small business needs.
“By offering both voice and broadband, Speakeasy has the ability to control the quality of service and reliability a customer receives when using our voice services over our broadband,” says Chatterley.
The two new VoIP services serve well Speakeasy’s relationship with Best Buy for Business which acquired Speakeasy in April 2007. The two companies have merged to better serve small and medium-size business customers by providing innovative solutions that will help the businesses succeed.
