Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte: An Elegant and Stylish Phone

nokia8800saphirearte.jpgNokia takes pride in releasing its newest mobile phone model, the stylish and elegantly designed 8800 Sapphire Arte. Together with the Nokia 8800 Arte which is a toned down model, the 8800 Sapphire Arte boosts of aesthetic beauty as well as useful mobile phone functionalities. What would you expect from a mobile phone with a tag price of more than 2,000? A fusion of elegance and pure craftmanship blended with high-end mobile phone features.

Slated for release on 1st Quarter of 2008, the 8800 Sapphire Arte promises full mobile functionalities such as:

  • 2.0” QVGA (240 x 320 pixels), OLED display with up to 16 million colors to complement its elegant physical design,
  • 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera with 8x digital zoom, a pretty standard feature among high-end phone cameras currently available in the market today,
  • 3G capabilities
  • 1 GB built in memory space
  • MicroUSB all-in-one connector
  • Anti-finger print coating on metal and glass which is must for a mobile phone of such beauty

What makes the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte different from the 8800 is not the phone features but more on the their physical features. Both were made of high-end metal and glass material that emits classic and iconic style. But Nokia extends the Sapphire Arte’s polished steel case by adding genuine sapphire gem stone complemented by soft leather that creates a rich and sensual feel.

Certainly Nokia will be marketing the 8800 Sapphire Arte next not by what it can do as a mobile phone, but moreso on how pleasing it looks to the eyes of the mobile phone consumers.

If you think that the price tag of $2000+ is well worth the general feature of Sapphire Arte, then you would certainly love to have a Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte mobile phone. The price tag may be high for a mobile phone of this caliber, but the phone’s features would certainly compensate for the high price of the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte.
