You can't beat an ipod. Totally worth the money. I've had about 4 mp3 players between ipods there is no comparing them. The ipod is miles ahead of the others, from now on its all I will buy. E. Smith

My husband had an older Ipod that he loved. It was quite an investment at the time he received it for a Christmas gift. Their overall cost has come down significantly through the years. His old one had a hard drive that finally gave out. He replaced it but eventually that one played out as well. He was hoping to buy a Nano but for his birthday I suprised him with the 32G ITouch. He loves it and listens to it everyday while at work. So far he is pleased with everything about it. I guess time will tell if it is a durable as his old one.
